If you haven’t heard already, the Silver Snail comic shop has found a new home at Yonge and Dundas.
To be precise, the new address will be 329 Yonge Street. For 36 years, the Silver Snail has been an iconic fixture on Queen St. West. I remember it well with fond memories of my weekly treks to in my youth, and more recently, sketching in their hallowed halls as an artist. For those who can remember, they had two smaller locations along the same stretch of Queen St. before settling in at their soon to be vacated home. Anyway, Spent Pencils will be giving them a send-off, so to speak, with the majority of our crew sketching there on their last Free Comic Book Day at that location on May 5.
Best wishes to George and the Snail with the move this summer, and we will continue to support them at their new home on Yonge St.
